New "Adventures of Tintin" game available for Xperia Play
Sony Ericsson and Gameloft are launching this Friday, the official Tintin game inspired by the movie “The Adventure of Tintin”, which premieres this month in Brazil.
The new game allows the player to pick between Tintin, Milo or Captain Haddock and travel the world, exploring exotic cities, deserts and oceans, on the search for the lost treasure.
“The Tintin game is recommended for all age groups, since the commands are really easy to use. The player only needs to press two buttons in order to perform the main actions. It’s a different and fun experience for both adults and children”, explains Paula Mendonça, Manager of PR and Digital Marketing at Gameloft.
According to Sony’s Manager for Apps and Services, Renato Cechetti, “the initiative is an example of the company’s commitment towards the development of game ecosystems, which accounts for over 200 titles at the moment”.
To promote the new game, Sony Ericsson, in partnership with Gameloft, Cinemark and Sony Pictures, will launch a Facebook promotion, between the 15th of January and the 5th of February. In order to win the prizes, the users must play a memory game, available on Gamelofts and Sony Ericssons Facebook pages.
The player will have three shots per day. To win, he needs to find two identical cards. The prizes, which appear on the back of the cards, will be sent by mail. Some of the prizes are, five Xperia cellphones, wallpaper and movie tickets.
