According to data published by Ibope, Brazilians spent an average of 5 and a half hours per day in front of the television in 2011.
The data shows an increase of 9 minutes in comparison to last year’s numbers, and 20 minutes in comparison to 2008.
All group ages and classes recorded an increase in TV consumption. The social class which watched the most tv was DE and the group age was children between the ages of 4 and 11.
