“VIMN’s mission is to make its content relevant to the public, and the launching of Comedy Central in Latin America is an example”, said Sofia Ioannou, General Manager for VIMN Américas. “This strategy allows us to create a permanent dialogue with our clients and affiliates in the region, since we’ve expanded our portfolio of products which now includes a new multiplatform brand of entertainment for young adults”.
The new channel will broadcast famous programs such as “Happily Divorced”, “The Exes” and “South Park” and original productions such as “Spooky”.
Since the launch of the Brazilian Comedy Central website in November 2011, the site received over 1 million accesses and has gained a large number of followers on social networks such as Facebook and Twitter.
