LG unveiled its new touchscreen televisions for the Brazilian market. Once connected to a computer, the user is able to write and draw on the TV screen with the help of Magic Touch pens.
The suggested retail price is R$ 5999,00. The user can connect two pens simultaneously, which allows a unique interaction experience with the television. According to Fernanda Summa, product manager for LG, “The company focuses on creating new products with useful features for its clients. We believe that this product will be practical for families with children, schools, universities and companies which give a lot of presentations”
Smart features, such as “Note Pad”, which allow children to draw and write on a blank page, are included in the product. The user can also opt to save his work and print it at a posterior moment. The “Image Editor” application allows the user to change and manage his photos directly on the screen, and so that the family doesn’t miss out on a birthday, all important dates and data can be stored in the “Family Diary” application.
As regards corporate and educational aspects, internet can be accessed directly on the screen. The “My Office” feature allows the user to access and change presentation and work-related documents, which is useful for company presentations.
