ESPN has hired a new reporter, Fernando Nardini. With over 14 years in the business, Fernando is going to be part of the company’s leading news team.
“It’s been one of my dreams. I didn’t think twice before accepting the job. I know a lot of people at ESPN; I’ve already worked with some of them. I was welcomed really well”, said Fernando.
Fernando Nardini started his career at Bandeirantes TV in 1998; he also worked for Rede Mulher. For the past 7 year he had been working at Rede Record, where he hosted “Esporte Record News”. It’s his first time working for a cable tv channel.
“On broadcast TV you need to be more didactic whereas on Cable we can be more technical “, he adds.
Nardini was a volleyball player for more than 14 years, and covered the Athens Olympic Games and Beijing Paralympic Games. He covered the Vancouver Winter Olympic Games.
