Esporte Interativo holds the exhibition rights for this year's Super Bowl

Esporte Interativo has bought the broadcasting rights to one of the most important sporting events in the world, the Super Bowl. The public-access network owns the rights to the Super Bowl finals of 2012 and 2013, and will be the only Brazilian television channel broadcasting the event, live.

The Super Bowl is the most viewed televised event in the United States, with a record of over 111 million viewers during last year’s final (Green Bay Packers x Pittsburgh Steelers).

This year’s final is scheduled on Feb 5th at 21h30 BRT time, and is set to play out at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianopolis .

All advertisement slots are sold out and went for the bargain price of 3,5 million dollars each.
Some of the brands who are set to air new commercials during half time are: Doritos, Pepsi, Volkswagen, The Coca-Cola Company, Bridgestone, Audi, Toyota, Hyundai, Kia Motors, General Motors and Anheuser-Busch.

Madonna has been booked as the Halftime Show performer. Some of the famous names who have already graced the stages during the Halftime Show are: Michael Jackson, Paul McCartney, U2, Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, Diana Ross, Prince, Gloria Estefa  n, Black Eyed Peas, Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake e Janet Jackson.

The Super Bowl generates over 1 billion viewers in more than 250 countries.
